and passionate advocate for the arts in Austin. Marcy founded Austin Art Start in the fall of 2006 where she curated professional art shows, did business consulting for artists, and collection consulting with private collectors and corporations. An exciting designer in her own right, Marcy left a lucrative position in neuroscience managing a team of research interns at the University of Washington/VA Medical Center to pursue her creative interests. Marcy has been a panelist for the Bootstrap Network at SXSW, served on the Board of Directors for FuseBox, and has volunteered for Rude Mechanicals, Art Alliance Austin and Catalyst 8. The Austin-American Statesman’s Michael Barnes made special note of her interpersonal and networking skills in his Out and About 500 All Stars 2009/2010.

Anne-Marie McKaskle

and has participated fully in its transition to the Alliance. Prior to that, Anne-Marie was employed as a campaign manager with Syzygy Marketing, a company that specialized in managing development and membership campaigns for performing arts organizations in Central Texas. As the Membership Services Director Anne-Marie is the primary point of contact for Creative Alliance individual and organizational members as well as the director of ACA’s fiscal sponsorship program. She manages ACA’s online membership portal, counsels members and emerging artists on funding and development, coordinates ACA’s Free Night of Theater Program in partnership with Theatre Communications Group in New York, and recently helped produce the Association of Performing Arts Service Organizations (APASO) Conference which the ACA hosted in Austin in March, 2011. Anne-Marie graduated from the University of Texas with a BA in Theater and Dance.
