Austin Arts Minute

Through a partnership with YNN, we produce a weekly Arts Minute every Wednesday featuring upcoming events listed on  NowPlayingAustin.com. The show is hosted by Carla McDonald and reaches over 250,000 households per week. The shows are taped well in advance, so events must be in the NowPlaying site at least 7-8 weeks before your event to be considered for the Minute, though this is a guideline and subject to variation, so we strongly encourage getting your event into Nowplayingaustin.com as soon as you can to ensure eligibility.

Austin Venue Menu (Coming Fall 2012)

Austin Creative Alliance will launch Venue Menu in the Fall of 2012. This free to use website will connect venues and spaces with individuals and organizations in need of public rental space for performances, private events, and meetings.

Free Night of Arts

Introduced as a three city pilot-program in 2005, of which Austin was one of the three pilot cities, the goal of the Free Night of Arts program is to increase public awareness of our national arts community, while in turn attracting new and non-traditional audiences to our theatres and other performing arts centers. Each year during the month of October, arts organizations across the Central Texas provide an allotment of tickets to be distributed though an online lottery.

Our Now Playing Austin website offers worldwide marketing for arts and culture activities in the City of Austin. The site provides artists and organizations the opportunity to gain audiences and stimulate the Austin economy. The site gets approximately 20,000 visitors/month. Anyone can submit Event Information or an Organizational Profile free of charge.
