For the first time in our history, the costs of providing our services is exceeding our income.

Because Austin Creative Alliance (ACA) earns revenue through service fees, we rarely ask for donations for ourselves. However, our costs have skyrocketed this year, just as our income has flattened due to larger economic uncertainty. To insure continuity of our services for artists, we need your support.

Every dollar’s worth of service ACA provides creates over $5 in impact for the projects and people we serve. This means your support is multiplied 500% for projects in arts education, performing arts and other cultural work that help ensure that Austinites from all walks of life have access to a vibrant array of arts opportunities.

In 2024 this meant more than $500,000 in direct donations for our sponsored projects, and over $150,000 savings for them on insurance, supplies and administrative costs.

Fiscal sponsorship is the most efficient mechanism for launching new nonprofits, seeding social movements and delivering community service.

A core service ACA provides to artists and cultural workers is Fiscal Sponsorship. Through this program, we incubate emerging projects and arts organizations under our nonprofit umbrella, unlocking access to tax deductible donations, thousands of dollars in savings on insurance and sales taxes, and eligibility for hundreds of grants and corporate matching programs.

ACA provides whatever our sponsored projects need to grow their community impact, ranging from direct assistance in creation of assets (press releases, logos, sponsorship packets) to grant writing to the structuring and administration of their fundraising campaigns.
