  • Finance and Administration Manager

    4 weeks paid vacation, including last two weeks of December

    Job Brief

    The Finance and Administration Manager is the primary bookkeeper, office administrator, human resources manager and manager of ACA’s Actors Equity Paymaster service.

    • keep ACA’s books and generate financial reports as requested
    • track income for sponsored projects and generate necessary pass through payments
    • create budgets for grants and contract proposals
    • banking, including applications for loans and lines of credit, payables and receivables
    • payroll management
    • audit preparation
    • prepare tax returns
    • maintain financial records

    • manage ACA’s liability, worker’s compensation and D&O insurance
    • manage purchasing of office supplies
    • Assist members with profile updates, CRM questions
    • Keep CRM generally up to date
    • Post Events to ACA public calendar as needed
    • Merchant services set up and maintenance
    • Phone, internet email and internal systems management

    Human Resources
    • administer health benefits
    • prepare employment reports for Texas Workforce Commission and other states as needed
    • prepare quarterly 941 reports
    • maintain records

    Actors Equity Paymaster
    • contract negotiations
    • issue payments to actors/stage managers
    • administer payments to Equity house and Union dues
    • AEA production reporting
    • maintain AEA records

    • Complete mastery of Quickbooks
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
    • 3 or more years of bookkeeping experience
    • Comfortable working both collaboratively and independently
    • Excellent time management, verbal and written communications skill
    • Effectively manage multiple deadlines, calendars, and work-flows
    • Ability to cordially and professionally represent ACA to the public, to our members and to peer and partner organizations
